Mr. Patrick J. Caulfield
Mr. Caulfield is the co-owner and officer in charge of the operations activities of Coakley & Williams Construction, Inc., a $200 million per year firm with projects throughout the United States, with an emphasis on the Mid Atlantic region. He is responsible for overall financial performance and oversees budgeting, accounting, estimating and project management of new construction, renovation and interior construction, construction management and design/build projects.
Mr. Caulfield joined the company in 1977 and has been responsible for the day to day operation of the company since 1984. Mr. Caulfield has overseen the construction and renovation of hundreds of commercial and institutional projects including many regional and national award winners recognized by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Association of Industrial Office Parks (NAIOP), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the District of Columbia, Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia Building Industry Associations, (DCBIA/SMBIA/NVBIA), the Masonry Institute, American Hotel and Motel Association (AH&MA), Ramada Inns, Holiday Inns, and Days Inn. He has authored a number of articles on construction topics for many newspapers and magazines.
Mr. Caulfield is an active member of several organizations, including: Chairman of the Board – Elect, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area; Board of Directors, Catholic Coalition for Special Education; Board of Directors, Victory Youth Centers, Inc.; Board of Advisors, St. Anselm’s Abbey School; PAC Chairman, Associated Builders and Contractors Metro Washington; Member, Editorial Advisory Board, Construction Business Review Magazine. He has also served in the past as: Chairman of the Board, Associated Builders & Contractors of Metropolitan Washington; National Board of Directors, Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.; Treasurer, ABC of Maryland; Member, Prince George’s Community College Construction Education Advisory Board; Member, Alumni Board of Governors, Georgetown Preparatory School; Founder, D.C. Merit PAC.
