Bequests

Gifts by will – bequests – enable people to make significant contributions that might not be possible during their lifetime. They play an important role in sustaining the future of Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health.

A bequest provides the following benefits:

• The opportunity to make a major gift while preserving assets during life.
• Reduction of federal estate taxes.
• The opportunity to designate the gift to a specific program or area at the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health System.

All assets, including cash, securities, real estate, and tangible personal property may be transferred to the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation through a donor's estate.

In many cases, a simple change to your will can add the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation. The Foundation office can provide sample language that will assist donors and their attorneys in creating a bequest to remember Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health in their will.
