Journey of Hope Building Campaign
hope—n. 1. A wish or desire accompanied by confident expectation of its fulfillment
Hope - for families with children living with mental illness - is what helps get them through the doctor's appointments, the treatments, and even the hospitalizations. This short word provides unbelievable strength for families and loved ones during difficult times.
Until now, a resource to provide treatment and hope hasn't been available. With your help, that is about to change. Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health System, recognized for more than two decades of clinical excellence in behavioral health services, will bring behavioral health care to an unprecedented level of compassionate care with its new, state-of-the-art, 12-bed inpatient unit for children ages 6-11.
The Children's Unit at Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Center will be the first of its kind in our area offering early intervention and access to care. It will expand the spectrum of health care services available to children and their families and advancing the treatment of children’s mental illness at the local, regional and national levels.
How You Can Help
The Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation recognizes that donor support is the bridge that will take the Children's Unit from vision to reality. Your investment will give children and their families the precious resource of hope for their future.
The Children's Unit Journey of Hope Building Campaign is an opportunity for you to make a difference in a child's life.
Donors have the opportunity to purchase four different art tiles. The tiles may be inscribed with your name or a message, depending on the level of your gift and will be permanently displayed in the Children's Unit entrance, making each message prominently visible to the families and loved ones of all the children we will be treating.
Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health System employees have the opportunity to contribute to the Children's Unit by purchasing tiles inscribed with their name that will be placed on a plaque inside the new unit.
