Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health System has grown with the expansion of the Washington, D.C. area and the state of Maryland. Thousands of individuals, families, and employers look to Potomac Ridge – often at critical moments in their lives – for our experienced clinicians and educators for their compassionate care. Potomac Ridge always responds, even when those most in need and vulnerable are unable to pay for care.

To support our mission of making quality mental health care available and accessible to all, Potomac Ridge looks to the community – to you – for support.

It is in this spirit that the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation welcomes discussion with donors about their preferences for the use of their gifts. Whether you have interest in a specific program, clinical services, or special education, we want your gift to be productive in ways that will make you proud.

Here are some possible designations:

UNRESTRICTED (THE FOUNDATION'S PREFERENCE)
An unrestricted gift is the most flexible and preferred form of philanthropy. Such an undesignated gift gives the Foundation the ability to direct resources where the need is most urgent or where the opportunities are greatest. Unrestricted donors have a share in everything we do.

RESTRICTED GIFTS
You may dedicate your gift to benefit a facility, program, or service of the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health System. We refer to this as a “restricted gift.” Restricted gifts are usually given for a purpose of special interest to the donor. This means we must use your donation as you have designated.
