Residential Treatment Center: “Bridges Unit”

Our 20-bed treatment center provides care for male adolescents, ages 12-17.5, with serious behavioral and emotional problems. The program offers adolescents the opportunity to assume responsibility for their behaviors, develop coping and communication skills, and explore values.

Our multidisciplinary staff works to develop individualized treatment plans to impact our residents’ overall psychological, social, medical, educational and spiritual needs based on their history and assessments.

Our treatment model includes a behavioral co-management system that incorporates a token economy and increasing levels of privilege consistent with behavior and achievement. Our caregivers also utilize the Mandt System, which focuses on building therapeutic relationships through increased communication to resolve conflicts in a safe environment.
