Partial Hospitalization Program

Our program is designed for children and adolescents, ages 5 – 17, that require a higher level of intensive care than provided through traditional outpatient care. Benefits of a day program include:
- Intensive treatment without hospitalization or need for an aftercare plan
- Group therapy with individuals seeking similar treatment
- Structured environment to promote progress
- Supervision provided by professional staff
- Daily monitoring of medications and symptoms
- Monitoring of behaviors in a hospital setting and at home
Our services are available Monday - Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm and most insurances are accepted. Referrals can be made by outpatient treatment providers and emergency rooms. For admission, the initial pre-certification must be conducted by the referring agency.
Our Assessments include:
- Psychiatric evaluation administered by a board certified psychiatrist who specialize in children and adolescent care
- Psychosocial evaluation performed by an Unit Therapist
- Physical examination conducted by a nurse practitioner or a medical physician
- Medication evaluation and adjustment, as necessary
- Substance abuse evaluation with recommendations for aftercare
Our Treatment includes:
- Individual and group therapy
- Recreation and art therapy
- Weekly family therapy sessions
- Chemical dependency education groups
- Discharge planning: aftercare appointments with existing providers, intake appointments, and recommendations for aftercare
