Washington Adventist Hospital Appoints New Member to Governing Board

Takoma Park, Md. - Washington Adventist Hospital has appointed Wendi M. Williams of Hyattsville, Maryland to its Governing Board.

Williams has more than 20 years of successful leadership experience with national and local non-profit organizations and private sector businesses, and has a high level of successful civic and community involvement. Williams is the former President and CEO of the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce. Williams is currently a Board member of the National Agricultural Research Alliance at Beltsville and serves as a member of the City of Hyattsville Marketing Task Force.  Williams’ other current and former board and membership affiliations include: Commissioner, State of Maryland Economic Development Commission; Business Sub-Committee Chair, Prince George’s County Livable Communities Task Force; Commissioner, Maryland Judicial Nominations Commission; Member, Leadership Washington; Board Member, American Heart Association, Member, National Council of Negro Women; and, Board Member Bonnie Johns Children’s Fund.
