2006 Gala Review
Eighteenth Annual Black Tie Gala Raised $189,000!
The 18th annual Washington Adventist Hospital Foundation Black Tie Gala, held April 1, 2006 at the Bethesda North Marriott & Conference Center, raised more than $189,000 for Cancer Care Services. Proceeds from the event were used to purchase a high dose rate brachytherapy unit called GammaMedPlus 3 Channel (HDR) for the Radiation Oncology Department.
In addition to a reception and a sumptuous dinner, the event featured a Silent Auction. Guests participating in the Silent Auction helped raise an additional $13,000 for Cancer Care Services the night of the event.
The Washington Adventist Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees extend their appreciation to all of our Gala sponsors and the nearly 500 attendees and volunteers who made this event truly special.
