Washington Adventist Office of Volunteers
Washington Adventist Hospital seeks volunteers, aged 15 and older, to help us carry out our number one commitment - to serve the community through physical, mental and spiritual healing.
At Washington Adventist Hospital, we value the unique contributions that our volunteers make to our community. Volunteer opportunities include patient care, clerical and guest relations. From visiting with patients to collating patient charts, and from labeling envelopes to providing directions at the Information Desk, among others, our volunteers enhance the hospital's ability to effectively meet the growing needs of our community.
"Each of us has the power to achieve great things in our community. Every day our volunteers share their strength with those who need assistance, inspiration and motivation," said Jere Stocks, President of Washington Adventist Hospital. "We're very grateful for the commitment of our volunteers who provided more than 40,000 hours of service in 2005."
Volunteering at Washington Adventist Hospital offers you countless opportunities to enrich your life while you make a valuable contribution to those who need your help, time and effort.
