Vision for Expanded Access
May 29, 2009
Dear Friends,
I am pleased to share the exciting news that Washington Adventist Hospital has joined Facebook, a social utility that opens up an exciting, new communications venue to help us keep the community informed about and connected to our Vision for Expanded Access. Our Facebook page focuses on our progress to relocate our current hospital and transform the Takoma Park campus into a Village of Health and Well-being.
I invite you to visit our page and view the very latest photos, architectural plans, and news stories about the project, which has received overwhelming community support.
If you are currently a Facebook member, I would also like to invite you to “become a fan” of Washington Adventist Hospital so you can keep on top of new information as it is posted. Please feel free to extend my invitation to become a fan of Washington Adventist Hospital to everyone within your Facebook network to share our work with even more members of our community.
For those of you unfamiliar with Facebook, it is a free, social networking site available online with currently about 80 million members in the United States alone. Users have the ability to create a personal Web page using photos, instant messaging and other real-time tools to share up-to-date information with their network of friends, family and coworkers in a trusted environment.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to keeping you informed about the important work we are doing to improve access to health care for all.
Sincerely,
Jere Stocks
President
