Widerlite Named Chair of Lourie Center Governing Board
Rockville, Md.—Paula S. Widerlite of Bethesda has been named Chair of the Governing Board for the Reginald S. Lourie Center for Infants and Young Children, located in Rockville, Md.
The center, a member of Rockville-based Adventist HealthCare, specializes in the assessment, treatment and prevention of emotional, behavioral and developmental problems in infants and young children.
Widerlite is the Vice President of System Strategy for Adventist HealthCare. She has been with the organization since 1992. In her current position, she provides leadership and direction in strategic planning, marketing, communications and government relations/public policy.
In addition, Widerlite is active in the community as a graduate of Leadership Montgomery, Class of 2005; a board member of Leadership Montgomery 2007; a board member of the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation; former Chair of Community Services for the Bullis School; and the Vice President of the Bullis Parents Association.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Trinity College.
