Adventist Behavioral Health Names Elizabeth Franzino Executive Director of Development

Rockville, MD - Adventist Behavioral Health is pleased to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Franzino to executive director of development. In this role, Franzino will create and implement the development strategy for Adventist Behavioral Health, including its locations in Montgomery, Anne Arundel and Dorchester Counties. Adventist Behavioral Health is one of the largest mental health providers in Maryland offering programs and services for individuals at every stage of life. Franzino will also be responsible for engaging and growing Adventist Behavioral Health's donors.

Franzino previously served as the director of development for the Reginald S. Lourie Center for Infants and Young Children, a member of Adventist Behavioral Health and affiliate of Adventist HealthCare.

"An effective program for engaging donors around our mission is an important part of Adventist Behavioral Health's ability to grow and to provide new and innovative services to the mentally ill in the community," said Sako Maki, President of Adventist Behavioral Health. "I am very excited that Elizabeth has accepted this broader development role within Adventist Behavioral Health and I look forward to working closely with her to build support for our services in the community."

Franzino brings more than 10 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations and grant writing to the organization. Prior to joining the Lourie Center, she was the assistant director of development for the Corporate and Foundation Relations program of Georgetown University. Franzino holds a bachelor's and master's degree in classics from Cornell University and the University of Virginia, respectively.
