Anna Agranovich, Ph.D., Named Neuropsychologist for Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland

Anna Agranovich, Ph.D.Rockville, Md.Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland welcomes Anna Agranovich, Ph.D., as the new rehabilitation neuropsychologist to the medical staff. In this position, Dr. Agranovich will work with patients experiencing neurocognitive dysfunction due to acquired brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders and other central nervous system conditions.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Agranovich join our team at Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland,” states Dr. Terrence Sheehan, chief medical officer. “We are confident that with her exceptional education and training, she will be a valuable asset in providing our patients with high-quality neurological care.”

Dr. Agranovich will work with both inpatient and outpatient services, providing neuropsychological evaluations and interventions. Her work will assist the Adventist Rehabilitation team in re-integrating patients into the community.

Dr. Agranovich comes to Adventist Rehab from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Neuropsychology. Prior to that, she earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as completed a predoctoral residency in Adult Neuropsychology at UNC-Chapel Hill Medical Center.

Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland is the first and only acute rehabilitation hospital in Montgomery County. The facility first opened our doors in January 2001 to offer specialized inpatient and outpatient treatment for persons with functional limitations. Services include comprehensive rehabilitation programs for brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports- related injuries, work-related injuries, cardiopulmonary conditions and neurological disorders. Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland is part of the Adventist HealthCare, which includes hospitals, home health agencies and other health care services.
