Programs

The coordinated health programs below offer comprehensive and audience specific services to our community:

  • Cardiac Outreach Program - According to the American Heart Association, one in three adults have some form of Cardiovascular Disease. More alarming are the statistics that show a disproportionate increase of heart disease in women and minorities. With that in mind, our intent is to reach out, in a special way, to our women and minority populations
  • Oncology Outreach Program - Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Maryland after heart disease and one in four deaths in Maryland are due to cancer. Our Oncology Outreach Program supports the growth of cancer services at both Shady Grove and Washington Adventist Hospitals
  • Health Ministry & Spiritual Healing - Health Ministry has a focus on the wholeness of body, mind, and spirit within the members of a congregation and the people in the community that it serves. The whole person health focus is on wellness, disease prevention and patient self-responsibility.
  • Worksite Wellness Program - Our Worksite Wellness Program can help you take care of your employees by providing courses and programs for a fee at your place of business. Our programs are designed to lower costs for your business by reducing the use of health care benefits, reducing injury, and increasing employee morale.
