Project BEAT IT!

The National African Immigrant Project of the Office of Minority Health Resource Center, together with the Center on Health Disparities at Adventist HealthCare, is conducting a research study and hosting a series of FREE health education classes specifically for African immigrants. Eligible participants are African immigrants, ages 18 and older, who are interested in learning how to better manage chronic and other health conditions and live a healthier life.

FREE Webinar

This free online health education class specifically addresses African immigrant health and is taught by African health experts. Participate in this webinar from the comfort of home, work, library, or anywhere you have internet access.

Webinar includes community resources with information on support groups and health services.

Participant Gift

Eligible participants will receive a $25 gift card for attendance and a second $25 gift card for follow-up participation!

Inclement Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather, we follow Montgomery County public schools scheduling. If school starts late, morning classes and programs will be canceled; if school is canceled, all classes and programs will be canceled. Please call 1-800-542-5096 to confirm class cancellations.
