Legs for Life

Do your legs hurt when you walk or exercise?

You may have Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), which occurs when hardening of the arteries causes a buildup of plaque in the blood. Early detection of PAD may prevent heart attack or stroke. Please consider joining us for "Legs for Life", Shady Grove and Adventist HealthCare Washington Adventist Hospital's annual screening day for PAD.

Should you get screened?

Find out if you are at risk for developing PAD by answering these four short questions:

  • Are you 50 years old or older?
  • Do you have elevated blood pressure?
  • Do you have a history of diabetes?
  • Do you smoke?

Did you answer yes?

If you answered YES to any of these questions you may show signs of PAD. We recommend that you register for this FREE screening by calling 1-800-542-5096 for an appointment today!

If you plan to attend, please complete our PATIENT INFORMATION FORM and bring it with you the day of the screening.
