Now I'm Back On the Road

"I was on vacation with Jon when I went into acute cardiac arrest. My brain virtually died. Most people don't survive. But with Jon and my team, I'm back home and back to life. I had to learn to live all over again, from feeding myself to walking to thinking and remembering. It's a miracle. Here at Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation, it's all about you, and what you need to get better. You can feel the hope in the air." - Sharon Zetts and her husband, Jon

A team of experts with one goal: getting you back to life.

Rehabilitation is all about bringing together the right experts to help our patients set their goals and reach them.

At our hospital, we provide comprehensive care from a team of specialists, who remain current in their respective areas of expertise. The team is comprised of as many experts as patients need, working side by side, to accomplish their goals.

Teams are led by a doctor specially trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Teams also include rehabilitation nurses, case managers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and therapeutic recreation specialists. Pastoral care staff, psychologists, respiratory therapists, prosthetists and orthotists, and specialty physicians round out the team.

For patients who need non-acute rehabilitation, our full-service outpatient centers offer the same comprehensive team approach - providing convenient care right in your community.
