Partial Hospitalization Program
Our program is designed for male and female children and adolescents, ages 5-18, that require a higher level of intensive care than provided through traditional outpatient care. This specialized unit provides outpatient mental health therapy to those in need of an intensive level of mental health treatment but do not require an inpatient stay. There are two distinct tracts: one for children ages 5 to 12, and another for adolescents ages 13 to 17.
Day Program Benefits Include:
- Intensive treatment without hospitalization or need for an aftercare plan
- Group therapy with individuals seeking similar treatment
- Structured environment to promote progress
- Supervision provided by professional staff
- Daily monitoring of medications and symptoms
- Monitoring of behaviors in a hospital setting and at home
- Serves as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric treatment and also as a transition from an inpatient program back into the community
Services are available seven days per week, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility in drop-off and pick-up times for working parents. Most insurances are accepted. Referrals can be made by outpatient treatment providers and emergency rooms. For admission, the initial pre-certification must be conducted by the referring agency.
Our Assessments Include:

- Physical examination conducted by a nurse practitioner or a medical physician
- Medication evaluation and adjustment, as necessary
