Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer

Allison Dichoso is a seasoned human resources executive, attorney, and educator with more than 30 years of leadership experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for Adventist HealthCare, she leads the organization’s human capital strategy, fostering a culture of excellence, equity, and compassion in support of its mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Allison’s career includes senior HR roles in federal and state agencies, local government, and community-based organizations. She is a former Commissioner for the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights and has served as a corporate trainer in specialized fields such as law enforcement, safety, and facilities management. She is also a certified mediator and consultant, with a strong track record in resolving workplace disputes and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Prior to joining Adventist HealthCare, Allison served as Director of Human Resources for the City of Newport News, Virginia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Justice from American University and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and before the United States Supreme Court and holds a SHRM-CP certification in Human Resources.
