Andrew Dziuban
Vice President, Philanthropy
Andrew (Andy) became Vice President of Philanthropy with Adventist HealthCare in 2023, after serving as Interim Vice President of Philanthropy for five months, Associate Vice President for two years and Director of Philanthropy for five years.
Andy introduced several initiatives to increase the 3-year average funds raised to over $4 million, while at the same time greatly decreasing the cost to raise a dollar. Included among them, he designed systems and processes to increase major gifts from grateful patients and community members and created efficiencies in operations by centralizing shared services.
Prior to joining Adventist HealthCare, Andy honed his fundraising skills at Medstar Health where he was twice promoted from Philanthropy Officer St. Mary’s Hospital to Director of Philanthropy with Good Samaritan Hospital and then to System Director of Philanthropy. While there, Andy collaborated with operations and frontline fundraising teams to improve the culture of philanthropy and worked with physicians and clinicians to recognize signs of gratitude from patients and their families and identify prospective donors.
Andy received his Bachelor of Science from University of Maryland and his Master’s in Health Care Administration from the University of Maryland University College. He is a graduate of the Adventist HealthCare Executive Fellows program and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CRFE).
