Chief Development Officer Appointed

Rockville, MD - Bill Smith has been named Chief Development Officer for the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation. Bill has 13 years of experience in fundraising, having served most recently as Executive Director for the Asbury Foundation in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

"We are very pleased Bill will lead our Foundation and its efforts to support the hospital's health care services," said Deborah A. Yancer, President, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.

The Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation is an organization of individuals who are reflective of the community and who are committed to seeking philanthropic support to assist Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in fulfilling its mission of providing community-based health care services.

Located in Rockville, Maryland, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital has 248 licensed beds and employs approximately 1,800 people. The hospital provides an array of health care services including emergency medicine, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, maternity and high-risk maternity services, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology and many others.
