Washington Adventist Hospital Introduces Free Valet Parking Service

Takoma Park, MD - Complimentary valet parking is now offered to patients and their families as well as volunteers at Washington Adventist Hospital. The new service will help to reduce frustration and stress for patients and improve their access to the hospital's quality health care services.

"Washington Adventist Hospital is pleased to provide this important service to our community. We realized that parking challenges were causing unnecessary stress for our patients," explains Jere Stocks, the President of Washington Adventist Hospital. "Adding complimentary valet parking to our facility will eliminate frustration and enhance safety and convenience for our patients as well as their family members or friends who drive them to the hospital."

The valet service at Washington Adventist Hospital, which will be provided by Metropolitan Health Care Services, Inc., will be available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. During these hours, a parking monitor will direct patients to the valet parking area. The complimentary service also has a "no tipping" policy. In addition to the valet parking service, Washington Adventist Hospital will have a concierge in the Main Lobby to assist patients and visitors with a variety of services, such as arranging wheelchairs or providing direction to treatment areas.

"The new services that we are offering at Washington Adventist Hospital are designed to improve our patients' access to quality health care services," notes Stocks.

Self-parking areas will still be available for patients and visitors to Washington Adventist Hospital. Starting on October 1, 2005, the hospital will offer valet parking to hospital visitors for a nominal fee.
