Registration Details

Free and open to the community. Online registration is required. Parking is available in front of the Aquilino Cancer Center's main entrance. Front desk personnel are available for directions to the meeting space.

Description

Yoga

This 2-hour workshop offers therapeutic elements of yoga to facilitate healing and recovery.

Participants will learn various types of meditation and breathing exercises, as well as gentle stretches to counteract stiffness and discomfort, and to control stress.

Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to lie on a yoga mat, which will be provided.

In the case of bad weather, we follow Montgomery County public schools scheduling. If school starts late, morning classes and programs will be canceled; if school is canceled, all classes and programs will be canceled. Please call to confirm class cancellations.
