Tools and Strategies to Help You Cope
The Winter Wellness Workshop is a conversation-based support group focused on understanding and managing the impact of reduced sunlight during the colder months. The group will differentiate between temporary feelings of “Winter Blues” and the clinical condition of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which impairs daily functioning. Participants will gain access to a validating environment in which their experiences are normalized and support is shared. The group will also discuss actionable coping strategies that can help maintain well-being throughout the winter season and beyond.
Workshop Goals
-
Increasing awareness of why and how mood shifts occur in the winter
-
