Our Hiring Process

Here is the general procedure for applying for a position at Adventist HealthCare:

Apply

When you apply for a specific job, our team will consider you only for that position. Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email. You cannot apply to the same job posting or modify the submitted application. Our team will review your application and qualifications and may contact you.

Assessments

Your recruiter will help you understand any screening and assessments required for your position. Your results help us determine your skills and where you would be a good fit.

Interview

You will meet in person, telephone, or video conference to discuss your professional experiences, why you are interested in working at Adventist HealthCare, and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions. After your interview, a recruiter will contact you to guide you through the next steps.

Offer

If you are the selected applicant, you will receive a verbal offer from our team. You will then receive a follow-up email confirming the details and information about next steps.

Background Check

All job offers are contingent on a background check. This will verify your credit status, criminal history, education, employment history, and professional references.

Pre-Employment Tests

To work at Adventist HealthCare, you will need a drug screening, physical examination, immunizations, and a mandatory flu vaccine.

References

We will contact your chosen references via email.

Orientation

On your start date you will attend general orientation. Your hiring manager will share information about your department specific training and onboarding.
