Hiring Process

We want you to know about our hiring process - from how to apply, to what to expect after you do. Our goal is to communicate with you closely and provide helpful support.

The First Steps

The Selection Process

You will be contacted by one of our recruiters if you have been matched with an open position.

Pre-Employment Tests

Most positions require screenings and assessments to determine fit and skill level prior to an interview.

The Interview

If you proceed in the hiring process you will be selected for an in person interview. Following the interview the recruiter will contact you to guide you through next steps.

The Job Offer

Our job offers are first made verbally and then verified through paperwork initiated in in our Workday system as part of your on-boarding process.

Background Check

After you have accepted a job offer, as a part of the on-boarding process, we will begin your background check which may include verifying:

  • References
  • Employment
  • Education
  • Credit Status
  • Criminal History

You will also visit one of our Urgent Care locations to do an occupational health assessment which includes:

  • Drug & Tobacco Screening
  • Physical Exam
  • Immunizations
  • Mandatory Flu Vaccine

Orientation

Here, you will be provided with everything you need to start your rewarding career with Adventist HealthCare.
