Practicum to Practice Program (P3)

Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center has partnered with nursing schools to develop a Practicum to Practice Program (P3) offering students an opportunity to select their senior practicum placement in their specialty of interest. Throughout the program, the students will immerse themselves in one of our units, to improve their skills and experience, and have one-on-one time with Adventist HealthCare nurses.

Application Requirements

Approaching Final Semester with preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
Transcripts and Resume
Active CNA License
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Letter of recommendation from nursing faculty
Personal statement detailing why you want to be a nurse and how this program would help you achieve your career goal (max 200 words)
