Research & Clinical Trials
Adventist HealthCare is committed to research to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. We participate in cutting-edge research to ensure we continually meet evidence-based practices and are the best place to receive care.
What's a Clinical Trial?
Clinical trials are research studies in which people help doctors find ways to improve health care and whether a medicine or treatment is safe and effective for treating a certain condition or disease. Each study tries to find better ways to prevent, diagnose, or treat health problems.
Taking part in a clinical trial is voluntary. No one can make you participate. If you choose not to take part, you will be offered the standard treatment for your health problem. You can talk to your doctor if you have questions about clinical trials.
Who Can Participate?
Our research serves a wide range of populations, from interventional studies in cardiac and vascular medicine in the adult population to social-behavioral studies in the pediatric population.
