About Bryan Akpuaka
Bryan Akpuaka, DO, is a physiatrist at Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation with a specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is passionate about patients’ optimal function and quality of life in the context of their values
He received his degree in osteopathic medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Plainview Hospital in New York. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and his fellowship at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.
In his spare time, he enjoys editing photos and videos, DIY projects, lifting free weights, calisthenics exercises and spending time with friends and family.
