About Fatima Husain
Fatima Z. Husain, MD, MPH, is a board-certified, fellowship trained urologist with Adventist Medical Group. She approaches care with empathy and a commitment to evidence-based medicine and partnership with patients, while also recognizing that the right treatment must align with each patient’s individual goals and quality of life.
Before her time with Adventist HealthCare, she was practicing urology in academic centers in New York City.
Dr. Husain received her Master of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s School of Public Health. She earned her degree in medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. She completed her urology residencies at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She then completed her fellowship in advanced robotics and laparoscopy at University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
In her spare time, she stays active through Pilates, spin classes and hiking. She also loves traveling, trying out new recipes and spending time with her family.
