Dr. Akhtar took the time to listen carefully to my concerns. He explained my condition thoroughly, educated me about available resources, and answered all of my questions with great patience. Dr Akhtar is one of the kindest doctors that I've been to in a long time. He listens and he thinks of solutions that don't always involve popping another pill for another side effect to deal with and for that I'm very grateful!

This was my first visit with him since my primary care physician died. We said three words to each other. I was expecting a full physical and just got blood work and told to come back in two weeks for the results of the blood work and then we'll do the physical.
