About Lynn Chan
Lynn Chan, CRNP, is a certified nurse practitioner with Adventist Healthcare Cardiac Associates. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University in New York. She also received a master’s degree in public health, focused on health policy and management, from Columbia University.
Prior to joining Cardiac Associates, Lynn was a heart failure nurse practitioner at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She treated advanced heart failure patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, referred patients for advanced therapies, and managed end stage heart failure patients on inotropic therapy and patients with left ventricular assist devices. Prior to her role as a nurse practitioner, she was in critical care nursing and healthcare consulting.
Currently, she treats hospitalized patients at Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center for an array of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease and hypertension. She has special interests in heart failure, women’s heart disease, and cardiac amyloidosis. She views each person as a whole, and her goal is to support patients and families during difficult times and empower them to take control of their cardiovascular health.
