About Meron Abiy
Meron Abiy, FNP, is a certified nurse practitioner with Adventist HealthCare Cardiac Associates. She strives to provide evidence-based, individualized care by meeting patients where they are, listening to their concerns and respecting their cultural values.
Before joining Adventist HealthCare, she was a clinical research nurse at the Department of Health and Human Services at National Institute of Health. She coordinated with patients’ multidisciplinary teams to provide them with clinical care and administer their medications and therapies, while using observational and data collection skills to support research.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing at University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore, before earning her Master of Science in nursing from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
In her spare time, she enjoys activities that help her stay grounded and energized such as Pilates, hiking and reading.
