About Milan Patel
Dr. Milan Patel is a cardiologist with Adventist HealthCare Cardiac Associates, specializing in cardiovascular diseases. His medical interests include nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiovascular tomography. His approach to healthcare is rooted in compassion, equity and evidence-based practice, with a focus on treating the whole person.
He grew up locally in Northern Virginia, graduating Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biology. He completed his degree in medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He joined the practice after completing his residency in internal medicine and his cardiovascular disease fellowship at HCA Florida Bayonet Point, earning Administrative Chief Resident and Administrative Chief Fellow status along the way. Dr. Patel has been a featured presenter at numerous educational and community events. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Medical Association.
Outside of work he enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with friends and family. He is an avid fan of soccer, basketball and football.
