Center for Health Equity & Wellness
The Adventist HealthCare Center for Health Equity and Wellness (Center) ensures that the communities we serve thrive in a culture of wellness and benefit from patient-centered, equitable care.
First, the Center gathers information from community members to better understand concerns about physical and mental health as well as health-related social needs, such as access to healthy food and affordable housing.
Then, the Center develops culturally-tailored community health programming, coordinates language access services, and builds partnerships with community members and organizations to improve community health and promote health equity in our diverse community.
Part of the Population Health Division, the Center is evidence of Adventist HealthCare’s commitment to partner with stakeholders and provide high-quality, equitable health and wellness services to all, including underserved communities.
