An Easy Way to Learn Your Risk for Breast Cancer
One in eight women will develop breast cancer within her lifetime.
Robin Cheris of Gaithersburg, Maryland took a few minutes to find out her risk in October and won an Amazon Echo Look as part of Adventist HealthCare’s breast cancer awareness campaign.
Robin took the breast cancer health risk assessment because her mother and grandmother were diagnosed with breast cancer and she was curious about her risk. After completing the risk assessment, Robin received a report with her 5-year and lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
Robin also gets a mammogram every year to check for any abnormalities and recommends it for everyone. “Mammograms are easy and quick! It is reassuring to know you’re clear each time you receive good results,” she says.
