I am a member of the Imaging Department, specializing in the ultrasound modality. In my role as lead technologist, I am responsible for guiding and supporting my team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and the production of high-quality diagnostic images. Additionally, I oversee staff scheduling, lab maintenance, and accreditation compliance. I also serve as a member of the Imaging Protocol Committee, contributing to the development and review of departmental imaging standards and procedures.
What inspired you to pursue this career and why?
I have always had a strong passion for patient care, which ultimately guided my decision to pursue a career in ultrasound. I was fascinated by the technology and its ability to provide real-time diagnostic information that plays a critical role in detecting conditions early, guiding treatment decisions, and, in many cases, helping to save lives. The impact that diagnostic imaging can have on patient outcomes deeply inspired me. Ultrasound was also a practical choice at that time in my life. With a one-year-old son and the responsibilities of being a busy mother, the program’s duration and structure were a good fit for my family and personal commitments.
