
Homemade Hummus Recipe

Ingredients

2 cloves of garlic

1 (19 ounce) can garbanzo beans, half the liquid reserved

4 tablespoons of lemon juice

2 tablespoons of tahini

1 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop the garlic in a blender.
- Pour the garbanzo beans into the blender. Save about one tablespoon for garnish. Add the reserved liquid, lemon juice, tahini, and salt to the blender. Blend until creamy and well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a medium serving bowl. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle the pepper over the top.
- Garnish with reserved garbanzo beans.
