Patient Admissions & Inpatient Services

At Fort Washington Medical Center, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care from the moment you arrive. Whether you're being admitted for a planned procedure or through our Emergency Department, this page offers essential information to help you prepare for your stay and understand the services available to you and your loved ones.

Admission

Upon arrival to Fort Washington Medical Center, please check in at the Information Desk located in the main lobby of the hospital. If you are admitted through the Emergency Room, your health care needs will be assessed to determine the best course of treatment.

Inpatient Comfort & Safety

When you stay at Fort Washington Medical Center, we want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and safe. That is why we provide personalized attention from a highly trained medical staff. Through our partnership with MDICS, we have hospitalists who manage the total care of patients admitted through the Emergency Department and do not have a physician on staff. Additionally, our critical care specialists manage telemetry admissions and critical care patients.

Room Amenities

All of our inpatient rooms are equipped with a private bathroom and daily cleaning service. Meals are served three times daily based on the diet recommended by your physician.
