The Maternal Care Center at Shady Grove Medical Center offers prenatal care and other services at a reduced cost to pregnant women who meet certain eligibility guidelines as part of the Montgomery County Maternity Partnership Program. The center serves the community with support from Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center.
Prenatal Services
The Maternal Care Center provides the following health services to referred patients:
- Comprehensive OB/GYN care with medical and surgical treatment options.
- Routine laboratory tests
- Prenatal classes
- Dental screening by a dental hygienist (if referred)
When It’s Time for Baby
The experienced team at Adventist HealthCare will care for you when it’s time for your baby to be born. At our hospitals, you will receive high-quality Labor & Delivery services that support you and your baby’s wellness, comfort and safety.
After Baby Arrives
The Maternal Care Center also offers post-natal care. You can schedule follow-up OB/GYN visits with a physician or midwife at the center.
About the Prenatal Care Program
The Montgomery Perinatal Program provides home based case management services to at-risk pregnant and parenting families who reside in Montgomery County. Services include support, guidance and education during the pregnancy and up to one year postpartum.
