At the Maternal Care Center at Shady Grove Medical Center, we provide comprehensive OB-GYN care rooted in compassion, education and support. We believe you should be an active partner in your care. We welcome Maryland Medicaid patients and are currently accepting new patients. We’re committed to making high quality care for pregnancy and childbirth accessible in our community. Soon, we will welcome patients with commercial insurance. Our center serves the community with support from Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center.

Your care is supported by a dedicated team of obstetricians, who provide 24/7 coverage though Shady Grove Medical Center. An experienced physician is always on-site for emergencies and deliveries, working alongside our center’s physicians and midwives. Together, they guide you through prenatal care, delivery and postpartum recovery.

When It’s Time for Your Baby
When it’s time for your baby to be born, our experienced team provides high-quality Labor & Delivery care focused on your and your baby’s wellness, comfort and safety.
After Your Baby Arrives
We provide postnatal care to support your recovery and your baby’s early health. Follow-up OB-GYN visits are available with a physician or midwife at the center.
