Lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation is a specialized program designed to help you manage lymphedema and its associated effects and impairments. The expert therapists provide a personalized approach that meets your unique needs. Some program components include:

• Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)
• Endurance training
• Energy conservation
• Compression garment fitting
• Lipedema management and treatment

Preparing for Your Appointment

Your first appointment will include a one-on-one evaluation with a Certified Lymphedema Therapist who will assess your needs, understand your goals, and determine a therapy care plan.

Directions & Parking

You can find us conveniently located next to Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center. Parking is available in front of the Aquilino Cancer Center, as well as in the visitor lots near the main entrance of the hospital.

Transportation

Plan your trip to the Aquilino Cancer Center using public transportation on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) website.
