Adventist HealthCare Imaging Opens New Office in Silver Spring
Silver Spring, MD – Adventist HealthCare has opened a new imaging office in Silver Spring, providing valuable imaging services to the area. The office, located in the Orchard Center Shopping Plaza at 12008 Cherry Hill Road, is conveniently near Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center and is currently accepting appointments.
Patients can expect to receive a full range of imaging services in one location, including:
- CT scan
- MRI scan
- Ultrasound
- X-ray
- Bone density scan
The new location also offers specialized women’s imaging that focuses on breast cancer prevention and early detection. Fellowship-trained breast radiologists and technologists are available to guide women through services including:
- 3D Mammography
- Breast MRI
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast biopsy
The opening of the new imaging center is an important step in bringing more accessible care to the White Oak area and adds to the growing healthcare services provided on or near the White Oak Medical Center campus. Recently, the Medical Pavilion at White Oak opened and offers primary care, heart care and other medical specialties, including the White Oak Cancer Center.
The health and safety of patients continues to be a priority and measures are being taken at all Adventist HealthCare Imaging locations, including the use of face masks, social distancing and virtual waiting rooms.
