Cancer Rehabilitation

You’ll meet with a wellness specialist to set goals for recovery and develop a personalized nutrition and exercise plan. You may work with physical therapists, occupational therapists and recreation therapists, sometimes at our Adventist Physical Health & Rehabilitation locations or Center for Fitness & Health. You’ll gradually feel more energetic, sleep better and improve your mood.

At Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center, learn about your condition in the Stephen J. Newman Oncology Library, open 24 hours a day. Use a computer, take home a pamphlet or borrow books and videos to read or watch inside the hospital. For help using the library, dial extension 6101 within the medical center.
