Emergency Care

Get help in a medical emergency at an Adventist HealthCare emergency room (ER) near you.

Open 24/7

Count on us for fast attention and the highest quality care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our facilities offer a wide range of services for patients of all ages.

Current ER Wait Times

Wait times are refreshed every 30 minutes. They represent the average estimated length of time from registration to seeing a "first provider" (a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant). These times can’t be guaranteed and they may change without notice because we do our best to treat the sickest patients first.

Emergency or Urgent Care?

Choose the care setting that’s right for you based on your symptoms. Minor, non-life-threatening illnesses, such as cold, flu or other infections, are best treated by your primary care provider or at an urgent care location. Going to the right place helps you get care as affordably and quickly as possible.

When to Go to the ER

Call an ambulance or go to the ER if you or someone else has:

  • Bleeding that won’t stop
  • Breathing trouble
  • Loss of consciousness, or passing out
  • Head injury or other severe injury
  • Signs of a heart attack, such as chest pain that may spread to another part of the body, nausea and tiredness
  • Signs of a stroke, such as sudden weakness in the arms or on one side of the body, drooping facial features, slurred speech and severe headache
  • Seizure
  • Severe pain
  • Suicidal thoughts or thoughts of hurting someone else
  • Vomiting that won’t stop
