Inpatient Care for Co-occurring Disorders
Start your journey to better behavioral health in the inpatient units for adults at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center. Our emergency room may admit you to one of these units for your safety if you have a mental illness and substance abuse symptoms. We’ll help you get to a stable place so you can return to your community feeling better.
When to Seek Medical Attention

If you call or text 988, you’ll talk to a counselor who can send local crisis responders to you. If you come to an Adventist HealthCare ER, a clinician will assess your needs and connect you to the right level of treatment.
