TeleHealth ConsultationAdventist HealthCare now offers telehealth visits to help connect you with a doctor or healthcare provider safely and conveniently, right from your home or office. With a televisit, you receive the same quality care online as you do in the doctor's office but via your home computer or mobile phone. TeleVisits work with every web browser and with no need for plug-ins.

Urgent Care TeleVisits

Adventist HealthCare TeleHealth is a convenient treatment alternative to an in-person clinic visit for the following health conditions and more:

  • Allergies
  • Colds and flu
  • COVID-19 concerns
  • Eye infections
  • Fever
  • Rashes
  • Sinus infection
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)

Primary Care TeleVisits

Primary care telehealth visits provide a secure, easy alternative to in-person doctor visits for the following services:

  • Annual wellness visit (Existing patients only)
  • Chronic disease management - asthma, blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, etc.
  • New patient visits
  • Routine office follow-ups
  • Sick visits

Rehabilitation Therapy TeleVisits

Telehealth therapy connects you with a physical, occupational or speech therapist safely and conveniently, right from your home. Our expert therapists provide services ranging from:

  • Speech therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Hand therapy
  • Pain management
  • Dizziness and balance care

How Do I Participate in a TeleVisit?

Primary & Urgent Care

The first step is to call and schedule it with your provider

For many people today, telemedicine is a convenient and effective way to see their healthcare provider. Before beginning your TeleVisit, make sure that you:

  • Have an active Patient Portal account, with username and password
  • Set aside a secure, private location

To begin your TeleVisit, follow these easy steps:

  1. “Arrive early” by logging in to your Patient Portal. If you can’t access the Portal, you can also begin your appointment through the reminder link sent to your email.
  2. Click “Join TeleVisit” in your patient dashboard (or email reminder).
  3. Fill out any patient questionnaire, and provide requested personal information.
  4. Click “Proceed” to check your computer’s speed and ability to support a TeleVisit. If your computer does not have a webcam (most do), you will need to attach one.
  5. Click “Start TeleVisit” to enter the virtual waiting room.
  6. Your physician will begin the face-to-face TeleVisit, and disconnect when the visit ends.

Rehabiltation Therapy

To begin your televisit using your smartphone or computer/laptop follow these easy steps:

  1. Find your email or text message reminder for your appointment.
  2. Click on the link in your email or text message reminder.
  3. Select “Patient” and agree on the consent form.
  4. Enter your name and check to make sure your audio and video are on.
  5. Select "Join Meeting."
  6. Your therapist will begin the face-to-face televisit and disconnect when your therapy session ends.
