Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers greet visitors at information desks, assist patients and families, support nursing units, help with clerical projects and brighten days in the gift shop.

Examples of volunteer roles in the hospital may include:

Stepping Stones Program

Our Stepping Stones program offers pre-med and medical students the opportunity to shadow, interact with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals within Adventist HealthCare hospitals. For six to eight weeks from June through July, students observe and learn about the day-to-day activities in various units throughout the hospitals. Each student serves two four-hour shifts a week.
